A never ending quest

for tone

I have been playing, buying, selling and trading Martin, Gibson, and other vintage flat top guitars for 35 years. It is a never ending quest for tone. I consider tone first, then structure, then cosmetics when seeking out guitars. I enjoy getting a cup of coffee and sit and look at the worn tops of a group of ’30s Martins sitting in their stands. I never tire of these instruments. Tone is where you find it, whether in a lower price model or higher priced. You will always get all the information I have about an instrument. And you’ll always have 3 days to make up your mind and return for full refund as long as the instrument is returned in same condition and manner as purchased. Some sales guitars, vintage cash sales, consignments, or trades may differ or require a 3% restock fee. Buyers pay return shipping and insurance. Paypal fees are non refundable in the event of return. Consignment guitars are subject to the agree-ability of the consignee. I have references from Ebay and UMGF where I have bought and sold for years.

After all, we are all just caretakers of these wonderful vintage instruments…
